From our side we decided to focus on 3 things.
- First of all, rather than creating products in bulk, generating leftover and waste resources, we decided to opt for produce-on-demand. Specifically the products will be produced ONLY once you placed the order. This will avoid generating unnecessary leftovers and wasting precious resources. Note that we also opt for this to not invest significant capitals in purchasing raw material, but it means our margins are lower.
- Secondly, we decided to introduce a Tip to the purchase process. Just before placing an order, you'll have the option to give us a tip (5%,10%,15%) that we will then donate in full to an NGO to protect our oceans. The NGO will be selected between Sea Shepherd, 4Ocean, The Ocean Cleanup and Coral Gardens. You can see this as offsetting your purchase from an environmental point of view.
3. Thirdly, we are pushing more and more to offer sustainable and/or recycled products, so that we are not a part of the problem. We already have an ever-growing range of organic products, that you can see here. Furthermore, we are pushing the boundaries by trying to make out newly introduced equipment from recycled materials. You can check it out here.We all love our spots. Donate a small amount of your orders to protect it.
